Who is FME Moto?
FME Moto is an official BMW Motorrad dealer and motorcycle specialist in Groningen, the Netherlands. Founded in 2025, we focus on sales, service and original BMW parts, from the R 1300 GS to the M models. Buying through our webshop means buying directly from a registered Dutch company with a physical store you can visit at any time.

Ordering and payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Approved business customers can buy on account with 14-day payment terms.
Is online payment secure?
All payments are processed through MultiSafepay, a Dutch payment provider with PCI-DSS Level 1 certification. We never receive or store card details ourselves.
How do I know my order succeeded?
Immediately after payment you'll receive a confirmation email with your order number and summary. You can also find every order under My account.
Shipping and delivery
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order total. Within the Netherlands we ship via DHL; international rates depend on the destination zone. The exact amount is always shown before you pay.
How fast will I receive my order?
Within the Netherlands we typically deliver within 1–3 business days. For Belgium and Germany expect 2–4 business days, 3–7 business days for the rest of the EU, and 7–14 business days outside the EU depending on customs. Orders placed on business days before 14:00 usually ship the same day.
Can I pick up my order in store?
Yes. Choose "Pick up in store" at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready, typically within one business day.
Do you ship outside the Netherlands?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Business customers with a valid EU VAT number are charged 0% VAT under the intra-community reverse-charge rules; the VAT number is checked live against the official EU VIES database. For deliveries outside the EU we charge 0% Dutch VAT (export); any import duties and local VAT in the destination country are the recipient's responsibility and are determined by the destination country's customs authority.
Returns and right of withdrawal
Can I return an order?
Yes. As a consumer you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to return it, no reason required. This is your statutory right of withdrawal under Dutch consumer law. The right does not apply automatically to business purchases.
How does returning work?
The easiest way is through your account: log in to My account, open the order and choose Request return. Ordered as a guest or running into trouble? Fill in the contact form with your order number and which item(s) you wish to return.
You'll receive a return label by email within one business day. Pack the product carefully, preferably in its original packaging, and ship it within 14 days of your return notification.
The return address is the same as our store address: Kieler Bocht 57, 9723 JA Groningen, Netherlands.
What are the exceptions?
The following products cannot be returned:
- Helmets that have been tried on or worn (for hygiene reasons)
- Custom-fitted or specially-ordered parts
- Products modified or personalised outside our store
- Sealed products whose seal has been broken
- Motorcycles and other products covered by a separate sales contract
When will I receive my refund?
We process refunds within 14 days of receiving your return, via the same payment method you used. On-account customers receive a credit note against the invoice within the same period.
Warranty
What warranty do I get?
All products carry the statutory 2-year conformity warranty for consumers under Dutch law. BMW Motorrad parts and clothing additionally carry the BMW manufacturer warranty.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Fill in our contact form (Webshop) with your order number, a short description of the issue and a photo if possible. We assess the claim within 2 business days.
Workshop and service
How do I book a workshop appointment?
Use our workshop page to submit a service request. We'll contact you by phone or email to schedule a date that suits you.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery service?
Yes, for maintenance and repair. See terms and service area on the pick-up & delivery page.
Complaints
What if I'm not satisfied?
We do everything we can to make sure you're happy. If you do have a complaint, fill in our contact form and pick the department that best fits your complaint (Webshop, Workshop, Accounting). Include a description and your order or invoice number. You'll receive a substantive response within 14 days.
EU online dispute resolution (ODR)
If we can't resolve a complaint together, EU consumers can also file via the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
