The two frame panels close off the two side openings of the rear frame with a precise fit. Dirt thrown up, stone chips and spray water are effectively caught or diverted before they reach the rider and pillion. Soiling of the machine is noticeably reduced. The design, given a dynamic look by its grooves, stays discreet and looks unobtrusive and harmonious on the bike. A precisely fitting opening in the right-hand panel allows the standard on-board socket under the seat to be relocated into the panel itself. Access to the on-board socket and its operation are improved compared with the standard arrangement and are extremely convenient.
