Some GS riders find the droning caused by part-load and full-load running in certain situations, as well as at speeds between 80 and 130 km/h, unpleasant and irritating. This noise is produced by the sound pressure exerted by the exhaust and the resonance chamber between the cases in the area of the rear wheel housing. The Wunderlich »GONZZOO« exhaust extension directs the thrust of the exhaust gas back pressure away from the resonance chamber and channels the sound pressure to the sides and upwards. This considerably reduces the nuisance caused by noise. The dynamic pressure that affects performance is not altered in any way, so there is no loss of power. Bystanders perceive the GS as less noisy because the sound pressure is directed to the sides. Fitting is easily done with spring clips, so this compact exhaust extension can be mounted and removed at any time. The matching spring tool is included.
