Wunderlich MultiClamp USB charging box

The USB charging box is extremely practical and fits every BMW with BMW's factory mount for the GPS navigator (Navigator V, VI). The box simply plugs into the place on the BMW mount where the GPS navigator would normally sit; it can also be locked and closed by an anti-theft system. Electrical power is supplied via the contacts on the navigator mount. The right-hand side of the housing has two USB ports (one USB 3.1 type A and one USB 3.1 type C), which meet the QC 3.0 and QC 4.0 (QC = Quick Charge) standards for fast-charging sockets. The charging box's activity is shown by a blue LED, clearly visible above the two USB ports. The charging box is also designed to offer protection against splash water. When not in use, the ports can be protected from dust and splash water with permanently attached elastomer sealing caps. The thread in the centre serves to hold the MultiClamp adapter, which is part of this set. Once screwed on, the adapter can be used to hold smartphones, for which the MultiClamp holder for smartphones (45155-102) is also required. The front of the charging box has four screws. These are arranged to match the standard hole pattern of various mounting systems, such as the Garmin Zumo XT GPS navigator holder. That way these mounting systems can be screwed onto the charging box quickly, securely and space-savingly, and the devices can be connected to the power supply.
