A revolution in ergonomics, usability, safety and exclusivity: these brake and clutch levers have been developed with adjustable lever length and reach, so they can be matched perfectly to your individual needs. Simply loosen the fixing screw and the lever length can be changed to suit your personal requirements. On the R 1200 GS LC model with its very effective brake, it is ideal to have better feel with less applied force, i.e. a reduced lever length. The VarioLever makes it possible to brake with just two or three fingers without trapping the others. An enormous relief for road, touring or track use. The same applies to the clutch lever. When the lever is fully extended (roughly matching the length of the original lever), braking with all four fingers is of course possible again. Another innovation is the easy reach adjustment of the lever, which can simply be made while riding - important to compensate for brake fade (for example under high load or on fast mountain bends). The reach can also be changed to bring the lever closer to the handlebar, making it easier to reach. This is made possible by a large rotary adjuster that is easy to operate even with thick gloves. The exceptionally intricate construction is also extremely robust: even with the lever fully extended, forces of more than 60 kg / 132 lb can be transferred to the outer tip without any problem.
