It can be set for slow rebound or to hold the selected throttle position constantly. On long-distance rides the engine speed can be set precisely, and with the mechanism switched off you notice nothing of it. The complete adjustment mechanism is housed in the right-hand bar-end weight and, depending on the position, increases the lateral pressure on the throttle grip.
