On the original, the foot contact area of the brake pedal is unfortunately rather small and often poses a safety risk. This brake pedal enlarger is fitted as an addition to the original foot brake pedal. It simply bolts onto the pedal. Accidentally slipping off or missing the pedal, and the resulting "kick into thin air", becomes almost impossible. The extensively milled ribs provide grip in the wet. The increased support improves ergonomics and comfort, and so increases passive safety.
