Seat built around a foam layer with newly developed contours and a unique cover fabric, developed with a great deal of care and effort. Concave shape. Low seat: 30 mm lower than the original. Relieves pressure on the tailbone and optimises weight distribution across the seat. Improved contouring. Progressive two-layer construction: soft top layer and firm core for even distribution of forces. High durability and comfort for long-distance use. Non-slip, anti-perspiration material combined with Alcantara suede seams. Fort RoburC (Wunderlich) base. Seams bonded and sealed by PFAFF for 100% impermeability. Note: for the 1250 GSA and the 1200 GSA the seat height on the standard seat is 20 mm lower than on the original BMW seat; on the lowered seat these two models sit approximately 50 mm lower than on the standard BMW seat.
