The Wunderlich ULTIMATE indicator and hand guard bars protect the original LED indicators and hand guards of the BMW R 1300 GS and GS Adventure Function and product features The ULTIMATE indicator and hand guard bars in this set complement the integrated LED indicators and hand guards of the BMW R 1300 GS and GSA and protect them – and more importantly: they protect your hands! In a crash or tip-over, the original hand guard with its integrated LED indicator is easily damaged. Replacing a damaged indicator and hand guard unit is expensive. Worse still: in unlucky circumstances there is a risk of fingers being trapped during a fall. That is why, besides protecting these costly parts, protecting hands and fingers is essential – especially on a heavy motorcycle such as the BMW R 1300 GS. Our ULTIMATE indicator and hand guard bars offer the highest level of protection. They are cleverly designed, robustly dimensioned and made of high-quality, durable steel. Installation is torsion-free; the bars are firmly attached to the outer handlebar ends and the corresponding handlebar switch unit, so they will not twist, even under external forces and loads. The understated design matches the shape of the original hand guards perfectly. Set for both the right and left side of the handlebar. Easy installation using the supplied mounting hardware. Important note and our recommendation For models with ASA (Automatic Shift Assistant) and/or adaptive light modes we recommend ordering the mounting kit (#13386-102) as well. This kit makes it possible to fit the indicator and hand guard bar on models with ASA/adaptive light modes. Reason: models with ASA/adaptive light modes have a modified left-hand handlebar switch unit. These ULTIMATE indicator and hand guard protection bars can also be fitted in combination with our handlebar risers ERGO+ (#13300-000), ERGO 25 mm (#13310-000) and ERGO 40 mm (#13320-000).
